AEM Cold Air Intake for 2008+ Subaru WRX STi

AEM has just introduced a Cold Air Intake for the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI 2.5L Turbo. This special edition intake system features a wrinkle red powdercoat finish specifically chosen for the Subaru models.  The CAI uses a very clean designed heatshield that blocks hot air from the huge 9-inch DRYFLOW air filter.  A CNC’d MAF adapter along with a built-in air straightener keep CELs away and fuel trims perfectly in line.  This CAI generates amazing HP and Torque gains across the powerband on both the WRX and STI models. 

All AEM intakes include AEM’s revolutionary DRYFLOW synthetic performance air filter; the first cleanable, reusable performance air filter that does not require oiling to filter and trap dirt and contaminants.

The largest power gains for the 21-478WR (tested on STI) are 36 horsepower at 5,300 RPM and 35 lbs/ft of torque at 5,300 RPM. The same kit tested on a WRX model generated 13 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 14 lbs/ft of torque at 4,100 RPM.
