HPT Motorsports - Blitz LM Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit for 02-05 WRX

The Blitz Front Mount Intercooler Kits for the 2002-2005 Subaru WRX are designed for maximum efficiency and superior performance. Blitz's 02-05 WRX intercoolers are known to be one of the most efficient designs, with a pressure drop of just .05kg/cm2 at 1.2kg/cm2 of boost. Blitz intercoolers flow considerably more air than the stock WRX top mount intercooler by consistently, and rapidly drawing away heat. With its tube and fin design, Blitz's FMICs are able to acheive very rapid cooling. Cooler air means a more dense charge of air, which in turn creates more horsepower.

The reduced thermal stress to the turbocharger components allows your 2.0L WRX to produce more power throughout the power band. These Blitz tube and fin front mount intercoolers for the 02-05 WRX are reccomened for smaller turbochargers. While Blitz's 2.0L WRX intercooler kits come complete with aluminum piping and all the necessary hardware for a clean installation, significant modification of the stock bumper beam are required, and does not make provisions for a blow off valve, so a universal mounting flange must be welded on for proper operation. This setup also requires a Blitz short intake or equivalent.

NOTES:
- A Blitz SUS intake (sold separately) or equivalent is required with this kit
- Modification to the factory bumper beam is required with this intercooler
- A blow off valve flange must be welded to the piping.
- There are seperate kits for the 02-03 and the 04-05 WRX's
