HPT Motorsports - Spec Clutch Kits for 2004-09 Subaru STi 6-Speed

Designed for an OEM-quality fit, and developed specifically to meet the demands of your application, Spec clutch kits for the 04-09 STi are some of the finest on the market. Ranging from Stage 1 to Stage 5, with everything in between, including a few "plus" stage, you're bound to find the right kit for your modified Subaru. Spec clutch kits include the pressure plate, disc, applicable bearings and proper alignment tool. If you need your clutch fast, we suggest calling so we can make special arrangements. We do not recommend anything above Spec's Stage 3+ unless your car has improved driveline and transmission components and is a dedicated drag car (no street driving, etc.). Stage 4 and 5 clutch kits are unsprung making them noisy and harsh and unsuitable for street use

	STAGE 1 (Organic Clutch Kit) For stock or mildly modified STis, the Spec Stage 1 clutch kit offers stock-like daily drivability and very good wear characteristics. Includes high-clamp pressure plate, steel-backed and multi-compound woven organic material, high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. PART# SU301
	STAGE 2 (Kevlar Clutch Kit) Good for lightly modified STis and stock power levels with spirited driving, Spec's stage 2 offers good daily drivability and extremely long life. The Kevlar material offers a long life, but must be broken in for 500+ miles. Includes high-clamp pressure plate, pure Kevlar friction material, high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. PART# SU302
	STAGE 2+ (Carbon-Kevlar Clutch Kit) For STis making more torque than the stage 2 can support, the Spec Stage 2+ maintains Stage 2 feel for good daily drivability and offers very good wear characteristics, but provides a higher torque capacity. Includes a high clamp pressure plate, composite multi-friction carbon-kevlar material disc, high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. PART# SU303H
	STAGE 3 (Semi-Metallic 6-Puck Clutch Kit) For heavily modified street and race engines, Spec's stage 3 offers sufficient daily drivability with a comfortable pedal feel and quick engagement. The Stage 3 can be driven daily and will hold significant power with harsh engagement & some chatter as the trade off. Includes a high-clamp pressure plate, 6 puck carbon semi-metallic friction with high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. PART# SU303
	STAGE 3+ (Carbon-Metallic Clutch Kit) For heavily modified street and race engines making more torque than Spec's Stage 3 can support, the Stage 3 offers good daily drivability and better manageability than the stage 3, with even better wear characteristics due to the friction material. Includes high clamp pressure plate, full-faced carbon metallic friction, high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. PART# SU303F
	STAGE 4 (Unsprung Semi-Metallic Kit) For heavily modified engines or engines of any modification level being used for drag racing ONLY where an instantaneous engagement and light weight are beneficial. Spec's Stage 4 is unsprung, making it extremely difficult to use on the street and very noisy. Includes high-clamp pressure plate, 6 puck carbon semi-metallic friction with high torque rigid hub and carrier assembly, bearing and alignment tool. 	STAGE 5 (Unsprung Iron Disc Clutch Kit) For extremely modified drag race and pulling engines, or applications that call for a slipper clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. These clutches are best ordered as custom configured and should be ordered after providing specific information about the car and it's purpose to a SPEC technical assistant. Not street-friendly due to harsh engagement. Includes high-clamp pressure plate, rigid iron disc assembly, bearing and alignment tool. Call before ordering to give vehicle specifications.
