At HPT Motorsports, our goal is to give our customers the easiest and most enjoyable online shopping experience when searching for high performance aftermarket parts and accessories. We are dedicated and passionate at what we do and provide excellent customer service and support. With phone, email and online chat support you'll always have to way to get in touch with us with any questions that you may have. We will do our very best to accommodate all your needs to your 100% satisfaction.
ALL PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH HPT MOTORSPORTS.COM ARE FOR RACING & OFF-ROAD USE ONLY; UNLESS CLEARLY NOTED OTHERWISE. Products should never be used on public streets or highways. Check your local laws regarding use of products. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with any or all local, state, or federal motor vehicles laws.
The information submitted with your order request is kept strictly confidential and is intended for use by HPT Motorsports for customer orders, product support and correspondence. We will never give or sell your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, purchasing history, or any other information to any other company without your explicit permission. All account information at HPT Motorsports.com is password protected to assure your privacy and security. All credit/debit card processing is ran through either Paypal's or Google Checkout's SSL encryption servers to ensure the safety of your information. However, if you still are uncomfortable placing your order online, please feel free to give us a call us and we will gladly process the order over the phone. (Note: We do not store any credit card information in our systems at all.)
All orders are processed within 24 hours of your initial purchase. In stock items will typically ship the same day as long as the order was placed before 2pm EST. Otherwise, the order will ship the next business day. However, in some cases products will drop ship directly from the manufacturer and may take as long as 2-5 business days before they ship. This occurs if we are out of stock in a particular item, or if the item is just not a "normal stocking" item to begin with. As soon as your order has been shipped you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information included so you can see exactly where your package is and when it will arrive.
If you would like to check the status of your order, you may contact us by phone or email or simply log-in into your account to view order details and tracking information.
All products returned for a refund or exchange must be 100% NEW and in the original manufacturer packaging. All returns/exchanges must have an RMA# issued prior to returning the item. (You can request an RMA# here.) The RMA# must be posted on the package that's being returned so we can properly identify it at our shipping/receiving dept. All returns/exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product. Once a product's packaging is opened, the product is used, or 8 days have passed since the product's were received, the product(s) can no longer be returned. If you knowingly receive an incorrect product and open the box, you own it... and we do not have to accept a return. All approved returns to HPT Motorsports are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for all shipping / handling fees associated with any returns or exchanges. Also, any original shipping charges that appear on your order statement are non-refundable as well. If you receive a product other than what you ordered or your order is incomplete, please let us know as soon as possible and we will correct the issue immediately at no cost to you. (No returns or exchanges will be honored due to customer or installer abuse, negligence, mishandling, or improper installation/use. Special order items are non-returnable as well.)
In the event that you receive or later discover a product as being defective in terms of workmanship, please contact us immediately. We will need to file a claim with the manufacturer. Claims can be filed outside of our normal return policy in these cases, however, in order to remedy the situation you must still be within the manufacturer's warranty period. The manufacturer will have sole determination of the outcome of any claim. We will help assist you with these claims (i.e. invoices, documentation, notes etc.), but we have no final say in the decision made by the manufacturer (i.e. approvals, denials, fees, etc.). HPT Motorsports is not responsible for any labor or associated costs which occur as the result of the installation or removal of wrong or defective parts. No warranty whatsoever will be given if the defect was caused by customer or installer abuse, negligence, mishandling, or improper installation.
(ALL RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE ENTIRELY AT THE DISCRETION OF HPT MOTORSPORTS. Items in the customer's possession for longer than 30 days will not be accepted for return in any circumstances.)
If you decide to cancel your order after it has been processed, you will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. However, once an item has shipped it can no longer be canceled. All cancellations and returns must be authorized by HPT Motorsports. (Note: In some cases, such as "special order only" items, we cannot cancel the order for any reason. So please be aware of this.)
HPT Motorsports does not offer any warranty on the products we sell. All items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty policy ONLY. Credit for defective merchandise will only be issued once the product is inspected and the claim approved by the manufacturer. Unless the manufacturer agrees to cover it, all return shipping for warranty items is the responsibility of the customer.
Methods of Payment:
Online orders are processed through either Paypal or Google Checkout merchant services. If you select Paypal, you have the option to log-in into your account and pay with "PayPal funds" or you can choose to pay with any major credit/debit card. When selecting Google Checkout, simply log-in your account and pay with any major credit/debit card. We do not offer cash on delivery (COD) as a form of payment, nor do we accept international credit cards. All orders are billed at the time they are placed.
Phone orders are processed through Intuits secure merchant terminal. (Note: We only accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover over the phone.)
All Connecticut residents are subject to a 6.35% sales tax. However, there are some situations where California residents may have to pay 7.25% (up to 9.75%) CA sales tax if the item they are purchasing is being drop shipped from a CA manufacturer directly to your CA billing address.
Credit Card Fraud:
Credit card fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. All suspected fraudulent transactions will be reported to the issuing bank and local law enforcement. Any phone numbers, addresses, e-mail, or contact information you provide will be given to banks and law enforcement agencies if we suspect fraud. HPT Motorsports reserves the right to decline any purchase at any time if we suspect a credit card is being used fraudulently.
Prices on our website advertised with "FREE SHIPPING" only apply to orders shipped within the continental 48 U.S. states. This offer does not apply to orders going to Hawaii, Alaska or International orders (i.e. Canada). Additional rates will apply, and you should contact us prior to placing the order so we can inform you of the additional rates. (NOTE: Our shopping cart is currently not configured to add the appropriate additional shipping charges for these few exceptions to the order during checkout, so we recommend contacting us first for a shipping quote.) If an order is placed, ignoring this message, you will be contacted after we receive the order as we will inform you of any additional shipping charges. At that point, you can accept the additional shipping charges or cancel the order. Please contact us with any questions regarding this notice. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
If you would like to upgrade your order to express (overnight, 2 day, 3day, etc.) shipping, please contact us prior to placing your order as our online system is not configured for express shipping options. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Damaged Packages, Lost Packages & Insurance Claims:
In the event of a damaged or lost package, please notify us immediately so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier to take care of the issue. For damaged items, please make sure you keep all packaging and materials as they will be needed for the shipping carrier's inspection. We may also require pictures of the damages to submit to the shipping carrier for the claim initiation. Please do not automatically return the parts to HPT Motorsports without contacting us first. Reimbursement for damaged items will be at the discretion of the shipping carrier. HPT Motorsports will not be held liable for damaged or lost shipments.
HPT Motorsports reserves the right to change product prices and other information listed on our website at any time without notice. Pricing errors are not the responsibility of www.hptmotorsports.com. Pricing errors occur because the manufacturers frequently change their pricing (due to rising costs) and notify us of the changes with minimal time to adjust our listed prices. If a pricing error occurs prior to shipment, we will either refund the transaction in full or give the customer the option to pay the updated/correct price. **Customers will be notified of any price changes before order processing** Images are often only an example of the product listed, and the actual product may vary. When you place an order with us it's assumed that you've read and agreed to the terms and conditions listed above. Also, HPT Motorsports is not liable or responsible for damages made on customer vehicles due to improper installations, abuse, or neglect. We strongly recommend professional installation for every product we sell, and all products listed are for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY, unless noted otherwise.
