Shipping & Returns

Return Policy:

Items can be returned within 30 days after your order has been invoiced & shipped. All items eligible for return must be 100% new, un-installed, re-­sellable condition, with all pieces included and in the original manufacturer's packaging. No exceptions. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All return shipping costs, including duty fees & taxes for international orders, are the responsibility of the customer and the original shipping charges on your invoice are non-refundable. All approved returns to HPT Motorsports are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If an item is returned that does not meet our return requirements listed above the return will be denied and the item(s) will be shipped back to you. Any shipping costs associated with this will be the customer's responsibility. ALL RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE ENTIRELY AT THE DISCRETION OF HPT MOTORSPORTS.

In the event that we ship the incorrect item(s) to you by mistake, please contact us right away for assistance. HPT Motorsports will gladly cover all shipping & handling costs to exchange items due to an error on our behalf.

RMA Numbers:

All returns must have an RMA number issued prior to returning the item(s). You can request an RMA number by logging into your account and viewing your completed order. There you will see a gray button labeled "Return Item(s)" as follows:



No returns or exchanges will be honored due to customer or installer abuse, negligence, mishandling, or improper installation/use. Items marked as special order, open box or clearance are not eligible for return.

Defective Products & Warranty:

HPT Motorsports does not offer any warranty on the items it sells, however, most items are covered separately by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you suspect an issue with an item's quality, fitment, performance, or believe the product to be defective in terms of workmanship, please contact us immediately for assistance. Our support team will offer installation troubleshooting first to see if we can correct the issue. If we cannot find a solution to the problem and suspect the item to be defective, then a warranty claim would be the next recommended path to take. We can assist you in arranging a warranty inspection with the manufacturer or you have the option to contact the manufacturer directly. All warranty claims must be filed within the manufacturer's specified warranty period and the manufacturer will have sole determination of the outcome of any claim.

Credit for defective merchandise will only be issued once the item(s) have been inspected and the claim has been approved & completed by the manufacturer. Unless the manufacturer agrees to cover it, all return shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer. HPT Motorsports is not responsible for any associated labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation or removal of defective parts. No warranty whatsoever will be offered by the manufacturer if the defect was caused by customer or installer abuse, negligence, mishandling, or improper installation. Any item(s) that have been modified prior to a warranty claim will be automatically denied.


All refunds are issued after item(s) have been received and approved by HPT Motorsports (meeting all return requirements above). Refunds typically take 2-5 business days to reflect back into your account depending on the card issuer/bank. International cards can take longer up to 5-10 business days. All refunds are automatically returned to the original form of payment.

Free Shipping Offer:

Free Ground Shipping is available on all orders totaling $150.00 or more within the contiguous 48 US States. This offer does not apply to expedited orders or orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APOs or Canada. Some items are excluded from this offer due to oversize restrictions, weight or shipping origin. Items that are eligible for this offer will be marked with a "Qualifies for Free Shipping" banner.

Express Shipping:

Express shipping options (i.e. Next Day Air, 3-Day Air, 2nd Day Air, etc.) are available but cannot be selected at checkout on our website as we do not display a live inventory system to ensure products are in stock at the time of placing your order. Therefore, we recommend contacting us and checking stock beforehand as express shipping options will need to be quoted on a per order basis by contacting one of our sales representatives.

Turnaround/Transit Times:

Live inventory levels are NOT available on our website, however, items marked with "Usually Ships In 1 Business Day" typically ship the same day if placed before 4PM EST during the week Monday-Friday. We strongly recommend contacting us prior to placing your order to verify stock levels as this does NOT guarantee the item is in stock. This is especially important for time sensitive orders. Other items marked with "Drop Ships From Manufacturer" or "Special Order" will usually ship within the estimated time frame specified with each product; unless the item is on backorder. If on a manufacturer backorder, a status update will be emailed to you with the estimated ship date. Please note, backorder ship dates are estimations and subject to change periodically. Items shipped with standard "Ground Shipping" within the contiguous 48 US States are usually delivered within 1-5 Business Days. Business Days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays observed by the selected shipping carrier.

Billing/Shipping (Address Verification):

Our standard policy is to ship all orders to the credit card holder's billing address per merchant service regulations. We utilize the Address Verification System (AVS) to verify and confirm the billing information supplied to us is that of the cardholder's issuing bank. HPT Motorsports.com reserves the right to decline any purchase at any time, and will do so if we suspect a credit card is being used fraudulently. If you wish to ship your order to an alternate shipping address please contact us as additional verification will be required. Please note, this may cause order processing delays. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy please feel free to contact our customer service department.

Signature Confirmation:

All packages valued $250.00 or more will require a signature for delivery for both seller and buyer protection. If you are not able to sign for your package(s) at the time of delivery (most carriers will attempt 3 times), we can arrange for a "will-call" service that will hold your package(s) at your nearest UPS/FedEx hub for pick-up. Please note, proper ID and your tracking number are required to pick-up packages from any UPS/FedEx facility. Packages of ANY value being delivered to an apartment building or apartment style condo will automatically require a signature as these types of locations are very susceptible to theft.

International Shipping:

HPT Motorsports currently only ships internationally to Canada. All other overseas countries are strictly EXCLUDED. Shipping costs will be calculated on our website for most products to Canada, however, some oversize items may require manual quotes for the most accurate rates. Manual quotes can be obtained by calling or emailing our sales department. Please note, the shipping costs that we charge do not include duties, taxes or customs/brokerage fees associated with importing & clearing the goods into Canada. All importing costs are the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by HPT Motorsports. We will not mark down invoices, declare packages as "gifts" or use incorrect harmonized codes to save on you duties or taxes. By law, we are required to list all package contents at the actual purchase price.

Damage Claims/Shipment Shortages:

All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment. HPT Motorsports will provide all necessary documentation, but all claims must be initiated by the customer. All packing materials must be kept by the recipient so they can be investigated by the carrier; HPT Motorsports accepts zero responsibility for customers who misplace or discard the packaging of a damaged shipment. After reporting the loss/damage with the carrier, please contact us immediately with pictures of the damaged item(s) and packaging to proceed with the claim. Please do not automatically return the parts to HPT Motorsports without contacting us first. Reimbursement for damaged items will be at the discretion of the shipping carrier. HPT Motorsports will not be held liable for damaged or lost shipments due to customer negligence.
